Since 2000, Australian Off Road has made a name for itself for its incredible campers and trailers, seeking to be the very best in its industry, and a name that consumers would associate with the quality and toughness needed to traverse the Outback. Problem was, these premium campers and trailers weren’t available to us here in the United States.

Now, for the first time ever, Australian Off Road’s flagship Sierra models are finally available to buyers in the U.S. Perfect for getting off the grid, the Sierra and its smaller Sierra ZR are extremely reliable micro-campers that maneuver with ease over rough terrain, just like they have been in Australia for the past two decades. Sleeping two to four people, the Sierra has a 14-foot profile and an interior that features a double bed with storage underneath, two hatches with access to storage compartments on the outside, and two fan systems. The outside has the added convenience of a large side-mounted kitchen with a stove and stainless steel sink, a lift-up bench, storage cabinets, and a 52.85-gallon, food-grade water storage tank.

The Sierra ZR doesn’t have interior living space but sports a smaller profile to equip a rooftop tent. The camper still comes with the side-mounted kitchen and the same-size water tank. Both models have inputs for solar panels and a high-capacity lithium battery bank for a self-sustainable trip and longer time spent off the grid. Narrow enough to get through the tightest spots when towed by your vehicle, the Sierra and Sierra ZR also feature extreme exit angles for more versatility on the roughest of roads.

Australian Off Road’s Sierra models are now available from XGRID Campers in Las Vegas, starting at 35,500 for the Sierra ZR and $45,300 for the larger Sierra.
